Securi-Guard Monitoring is in very elite company after being awarded certification to the new BS EN ISO 9001:2015 International Quality Standard by the National Security Inspectorate (NSI).

The company’s Quality Systems and Procedures were recently audited by the NSI to ensure its compliance with the new standard, as laid down by the International Standards Organisation (ISO).

The new International Standard is published by the British Standards Institution, whose role is to ensure world class specifications are in place so products, services and systems meet the necessary requirements for quality, safety and efficiency.

These accreditations also means that Securi-Guard Monitoring – the South West’s largest independent fire and security specialist – is one of only three monitoring providers in the UK with five gold awards under the (NSI) Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC) Gold Scheme.

Kim Precious, Managing Director Securi-Guard Monitoring, said the latest accreditation success showed the company continued to attain the most exacting of industry standards for quality and excellence.

“NSI accreditation is a benchmark for excellence across the fire and security industry, giving our client base complete peace of mind in our ability and professionalism” said Kim.

“The fact we are now in a very select group of monitoring companies,  with five NSI Gold ARC awards and certified to the latest Quality Standard, shows the hard work and commitment we have put in to meeting our obligations in terms of quality management and delivering excellent services.

The scope of the Gold accreditation covers the company’s full range of monitoring services: security alarm monitoring, fire alarm monitoring, CCTV monitoring, lone worker alarm monitoring and vehicle tracking.

One of the largest monitoring centres of its kind in the UK, the new accreditation comes as the ARC celebrates its 20th anniversary this year.
